 Leadership Quotient

Sharing a bit of discussion in a social media group on different aspects of leaderships.

This is largely my own perspectives and theory of leadership, based on leadership experience (earlier did a series of lessons of leadership )

LQ= IQ+EQ+SQ+LQ+ CQ

Leadership quotient = Intelligence Quotient +Emotional Intelligence + Social Quotient + Life Skills Quotient+ Knowledge-Creativity Quotient

Emotional Intelligence.

Dealing with adversity, success, motivation, failure etc. Emotional intelligence is also abou crisis management, resilience, adaptability to a new situation and ability to manage emotions and understand and appreciate others emotions.

Social Intelligence

Dealing with people, managing people, inspire people, see through people, listening skills and communication skills are all to do with social intelligence. Those who have a combination of high emotional and social intelligence are very perceptive.They have relatively higher empathy.

Those with higher SQ also has a better ability to adapt to different kinds of people, including the ability to make choices in terms of relationships

Public communication skills involve an ability to understanding audience and quickly adapt this messaging, body language and framing the message in a language appropriate to the audience and context

A higher level of society intelligence include PQ -political quotient : Ability to understand and manage power relationships. This also involves deriving power, responding to power and negotiating power.

Life skill quotient

Life skills are multi dimensional. Ability to manage resources in practical manner. Many of the basic social psychological skills in everyday life is important. This is the ability to manager time, money, personal relationship , including sexuality, in an effectively practical manner. This also all basic survival skills (cooking, swimming, martial arts etc) and common sense, mental agility risk assessment and management of risks , smart to understand others, thier motivation, self motivation, core values, spirituality etc

Basic life skills also involves attitudes to others and to what extent one negotiate one"s interest with others and ability to honest, helpful, supportive etc.

Creativity -Knowledge quotient

CQ is about information, imagination ,innovation, insights, and deeper domain knowledge. Creative quotient involves special talent, skill set and ability to use these skills in fruitful and influential manner. Creative quotient is also connected with deeper knowledge of a particular areana and use that knowledge in a highly communicative and emotive manner.

While some creative skills are inborn biological gifts (eg a good voice or high ability to reproduce sights and sounds ), creative quotient involves nurturing skills through knowledge practices.

Creativity quotient basically depends on your knowledge and information process management.and socialization of knowledge and creative skills

Usually parents often force children to study and score higher marks and prepare them to get a good job with money. Those with higher IQ may do well. But without emotional intelligence, social intelligence and basic life skills, such people often end up not succeeding in thier career or life choices and relationships

Towards the end of the heart -set (values, beliefs, ideals, convictions ), mindset (attitude, perspective, modes of thinking ) and skill sets (communications, domain skills, life skills ) all matter in the making of a relatively effective, creative, resilient and happy person.

Degrees or marks or career or money are not the measure of a human beings. They don't live by bread alone.
