Ernest Hemingway lived here from 1931 to 1939 in this beautiful house in Key West , the southern most city of the USA, just 90 miles away from Cuba. He retained this house till he committed suicide in 1961. In 1939 , he moved to Havana by his boat. He was based in Havana till he died. Key West is an island around 200 km away from Miami. To reach there one has to cross a 12 km bridge on the way from Miami to Key West. Hemingway wrote many of his great works here. After his death , his Key West House is a museum.
