Tripura Election

Feel really sorry for the electioral results of Tripura. I wanted Manic da to win again. He is a leader who stands out in a party, losing steam steadily.
It is symbolic that on the very same day the party will inaugurate a new Janakeeya (popular) voluntary restaurant to ensure free food for the hungry people in Alleppy, once up on a time, the sronghold of workers' movement.
May be that is a metaphor of the shapes of things to come.. A signboard the uncertain tomorrows of the autumn of an elusive promises of an ever evading revolution. Don't go and search for the old book to find a new answers for solace.. It is good to have a meal of sorrow together in the graveyard of fairy tales of brocken dreams.

Now there will be reflections on why there is a politics beyond electoral politics. And the purpose was never electoral politics In any case there is so much do beyond electoral politics and governmental power Let us feed the hungry. Let us start charity initiatives Provide cloth to those who dont have cloths. Let us work together to provide shelter to the homeless. Let us plant trees together And join hands to have windows of love, care and share. Revolution is eternally postpned. The days of government power will go soon. Why govenment only ? Till the second coming, non-governmental too be fine.:-)

The crisis is more than electoral. It is an ideolgical crisis and hence an existential crisis.
One is indeed deeply concerned about the politics of majoritarianism and exclusion as one by one the ground is slipping under the feet
