Change must start within each of us at home, in our communities, villages, cities where we can together make change happen. That is at the core of the Bodhigram approach.
The Bodhigram communuty get together to mark the first snehavurunnu ( സ്നേഹ വിരുന്നു ) in 2018 on last saturday. Bodhigram community meets every fourth saturday to share food for thoughts and sharing a meal of human solidarity beyond caste, creed, or age. Bodhigram has become a venue where people get together
to learn, share and support each other in search of our ideals of enlightened communities that stand for local democracy, peace, justice and human goodness. Bothigram has three initiatives. a) pathways to words ( വാക്കിന്റെ വഴികൾ -സാംസ്കാരിക സാമൂഹികം )b) Pathways to knowledge (അറിവിന്റെ വഴികൾ )c) Pathways to human goodness ( നന്മയുടെ വഴികൾ ).
Our zero hunger initiative (വിശപ്പ് രഹിത ഗ്രാമം ) and feast of love (സ്നേഹ വിരുന്നു ) is a part of our initiative of nuruturing a culture of sharing and caring of each other. Anyone who is hungry can get food free of cost at the Bodhigram restaurent
Congratulations to all Bodhugram volunteers. Bodhigram is a volunteer movement led by volunteers. We hope to have such bodhigram communities across Kerala, India and beyond. Make change happen within and beyond to share and care for people and community is the mission of Bodhigram. Bodhigram does not recieve any instututional funding from abroad or India. It is not a conventional NGO. It is a community movement for making change happen, in search of alternative ways of thinking and doing to reform people and society.
