1) What is Fascism ? Fascism is a form of authoritarian extremist nationalism, characterized by dictatorial power, silencing all voices of dissent, forcible suppression of opposition, using media for state propaganda and take over the economy through crony capitalism. Fascists use their foot-solider loyalists to intimidate and threaten those who don't subscribe to fascist ideology.. Fascists believe that liberal democracy is obsolete, and they regard the complete mobilization of society under a totalitarian one-party state as necessary to prepare a nation for armed conflict and to respond effectively to economic difficulties.
1) Who is a a mock-liberal? Mock liberal is a person who pretends to support liberal values like freedom and rights, but in reality a conservative or sectarian who tend to see the 'other' with pride and prejudice. There are also those who are politically liberal and socially very conservative. Then there are social liberals and politically conservative. In India a large number of urban educated people are often mock-liberals. some of them adopt convenient silence on key issues not to spill the beans. Many of them tend to be for the free-market and all goodies and comforts, but are neo-conservative with deep prejudices against the 'other' and also pride in their locations of caste and class. Lots of them are misogynist too. Some of those 'closet-sanghies' who postures as 'liberals' are actually 'pseudo-liberals'. Both these species are growing in social media too
