Government for the Rich and Rhetoric for the Poor

Union Government is Rich. It is a government for the Rich , by the Rich and of the Rich. Crony capitalists are happy .

The new GST regime end up taking double indirect taxes from the people. And often it is the poor who end up paying more indirect taxes.

Abraham Koshy True,though the poor do not pay direct taxes like IT,they pay all the indirect taxes without even knowing.The tax collected goes back into the pockets of biggies through different tax sops,sad state of affairs.

Biju Mathew Thadathil In India, government is private/corporate entity.... So the people are transferring resources to the rich, through the state... Or state is facilitating this transfer
